Dr Joon Kwon received his medical degree from the University of Sydney and completed his training as a junior doctor at Westmead, Mount Druitt and Coffs Harbour Hospital. He spent time working as a GP registrar in various practices throughout Sydney and the Blue Mountains before being awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. He has also completed a Diploma of Child Health through the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and is trained in Implanon insertion and removal. 

Dr Kwon enjoys all aspects of general practice and aims to provide holistic, up to date, evidence-based healthcare to patients.

Outside of work, Dr Kwon likes to spend time with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys watching movies, listening to jazz and cycling (when time allows!).
